In 2005 there 840,000 German citizens of Turkish orgins.verall, the number of German resients with orgins in Turkey was approximately 2,812,000 or 3.4% of Germany's population. In 2010, the Embassy of Germany said that there are 3.5 million people of Turkish orgin living in Germany and that a further 3 million Turk have spent part of their lives in Germany. Now there are over 4 million Turkish descent living in Germany. In 2008 688,370 Turkish citizen(880,003 males and 799,367 females). Turks are 25.1% of Germany's foreign population. They are the largest ethnic minority.
When the Berlin wall was built after the war, Germany had more jobs then workers available. This caused major problems for the economy in Germany. Germany then decided to make a treaty with South Europe to recruit workers. When Germany recruited the Turks , Germans and Turk people thought they would only be there for maximum of two years..they were both wrong. What happened was that the Germans did not want to lose skilled workers and the Turks did not make enough to start there own business inTurkey or wherever they were from. Turks usually stayed in Germany because they had family there and they didnt want to leave them or they had already attended school and did not want to interrupt there education.
There were advantages for both the Turks and the Germans when they treaty was made. The advantages for the Germans economy to employ turish and other foreign workers, because it increases wealth, it keep wages and prices relatively stable and it helps to maintain full employment.
The advantages for the Turkish economy is that is allows workers to go abrad for emplyment because they get professional training, they earn foreign exchange, the domestic unemplyment rate is reduced, Turkey's wealth increases and it readuces social and economic conflicts.
The climate in Germany  is moderate and is generally without sustained periods of cold or heat.Northwestern and coastal Germany have a maritime climate caused by warm westerly winds from the North Sea: the climate is characterized by warm summers and mild cloudy winters. Farther inland, the climate is continental, marked by greater dicernal seasonal variations in temperature with warmer summers and colder winters.
